Sabena exhibition

Today we went to the Sabena airforce exhibition at the jubelparkmuseum in Brussels called "De toekomst kwam uit de lucht". A great retrospective of "Belgians in the air".This exhibition still runs till the 29th of february 2012.

DREAMSUITS by Nudie

I finally paid a visit to the Nudie suits exhibition from Bobbejaan Schoepens' personal collection in the Antwerp Fashion Museum - MOMU. A small but amazing display with top quality garments made by Nudie Cohn who was a personal friend of Bobbejaan. Bobbejaan Schoepen started his musical career in 1948 in Belgium  as a folk singer and made it to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, USA in the 50s. He opened Bobbejaanland, a Western-style theme park in 1961. He sadly left us in 2010.

My Week With Marilyn Trailer

2012 will be the year of Marilyn Monroe, she died in august 1962, almost fifty years ago. For me she was, and still is “the “ icon of the movie glitter and glamour showgirl. No doubt you will see and hear a lot more about Marilyn Monroe this year. There’s a new movie coming out on march 7th (Belgian premiere) called “My Week With Marilyn” It’s an English movie by Simon Curtis. Michelle Williams as Marilyn.
